Paul Nathan “Vern” Adams, 30, died March 7 at Bristol Regional Hospital in Bristol, Tenn., after a long illness.
A son of Paul Dean and Pansy Niece Adams of Rutledge, Tenn., he was a grandson of the late Ralph and Shelby Niece and Bobby Adams.
Mr. Adams was formerly of Eolia, and had served on the Grainger County Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed bass fishing, and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Rachel Mullins Adams; four daughters, Madison Brooke, Skylar Nicole and twins Gabriella Faith and Adrianna Elizabeth Adams, all of home; a sister, Chasity Noel Marshall and husband George of Rutledge, Tenn.; a grandmother, Ruby Adams of Eolia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rondall and Barbara Mullins of Pound, Va.; and nieces and nephews, Luke Anthony Marshall, William Eugene Mullins, Hannah Shaye Mullins, Bristol Braylon Mullins and Brayton Wrangler Mullins.
Funeral services for Mr. Adams were held March 10 in Pound, Va. Graveside services were held March 11 at the Niece family cemetery at Eolia.
