Funeral services for Reba Jeanette Bentley, 85, of Burdine, were held November 23 at the Burdine Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Jenkins-Payne Gap Cemetery.
Born in Burdine to the late William Iru DePriest and Lillian Bell DePriest, she died November 20 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
She was the widow of Palmer Bentley Jr., and the mother of the late Kenneth Wayne Bentley.
Mrs. Bentley was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ansel DePriest and William Ralph De- Priest; a sister, Mildred DePriest; an infant grandson, Scott Andrew Mullins; and a son-in-law, Johnny Ray Mullins.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory Palmer Bentley and wife Gemma, and Keith Bentley and wife Tonya, all of Payne Gap; a daughter, Sherry Mullins Bentley of Payne Gap; a sister, Marie Vicars of Burdine; three granddaughters, Leslie Bentley, Pamela Bentley, Keiley Shayelle Bentley and Alexandria Addington; two grandsons, William Kole Bentley and Klint Daniel Bentley; two greatgranddaughters, Courtney Lynn Mullins and Laikyn Bentley; a great-grandson, Lucas Keith Bentley; a stepgrandson, Tyler; a stepgranddaughter, Shyanne; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Bentley; and Chance and Braxton.
