Samuel Potter, 87, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, died December 3 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Born in Potter Town to the late Isaac and Anna Little Potter, he was the widower of Frankie Little Potter.
He was a grandfather of the late Dana Lynn Johnson, the father-in-law of the late Glen Alton Johnson, and a brother of the late Conley Potter, Estill Potter, Rueben Potter, Charles Potter, Jack Potter and Betty Lois Potter.
He was a 65-year member of the Church of Christ, and had worked as a coalminer for 44 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Kaye Johnson of Virgie, Linda Ann Euman and husband Teddy of Canal Winchester, Oh., and Eunice Gaynell Pape and husband Mark of Bowling Green; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two greatgreat grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Potter were held December 9 at Carty Funeral Home in Neon. Burial was in the Rueben Potter Cemetery at Jackhorn.
