STEVE LUCAS
Steve Lucas, 66, of Thornton, died January 13 at Pikeville Medical Center.
He was a son of Vina Hensley Lucas and the late Leonard Lucas.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Stanley Lucas of Colson; two sisters, Joella Hogg of Thornton and Ardella Trauss of Cincinnati, Oh.; two nieces, Brook Sturgill and Danielle Madden; four nephews, Kenneth Asher, Kevin Asher, Billy Hatton, and Nathan Banks; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Lucas was preceded in death by a brother, Sanford Lucas, and a sister, Lovetta Asher.
Funeral services for Mr. Lucas were held Saturday, January 16, at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Lucas Cemetery at Thornton.
