Verita Faye Hall Davis, 78, of Orlando, Fla., died August 24 at her son’s residence in Sparta.
Born in Neon to the late Dewey and Effie Hall, she was the widow of Furney Davis.
She was a sister of the late Dewey Hall Jr. and Jean Hall Husk, and an aunt of the late James Hall.
Mrs. Davis was graduated from Fleming-Neon High School in 1958, and was an employee of Walgreens Distribution Warehouse in Orlando, Fla., for 26 years.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Newman and wife Shelly of Georgetown, and Kevin Newman and wife Myrtie of Sparta; eight grandchildren; and a sister, June Hall of Mishawaka, Ind.
Services for Mrs. Davis will be handled in private at the convenience of her family.
