VERNON CAMPBELL
Vernon Campbell, 97, of Riley Township, Mich., died May 8.
Born in Gander, he was a son of the late Louis and Rebecca Campbell and the widower of Betty Hall. He was also preceded in death by eight siblings.
He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired from Chrysler after 33 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Jannifer Davis and husband Joe; grandchildren, Bernadine Phillips, Michelle McClelland and Joe Davis, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Christopher, Amanda, Ashley and Dustin; great-great-grandchildren, Chloe, Rebecca, Johnny, Haley, Michael, Nicky, and Jadelyn.
Funeral services were held May 13 in Memphis, Michigan. Burial was in Memphis Cemetery.
