Funeral services for Virgie Delph, 81, were held Sunday at the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church in Partridge. She died June 5 at her home at Partridge.
Born in Inman, Virginia to the late Bascum and Ester Coomer Ramey, she was the widow of Archie J. Delph. She was a homemaker and 45-year member of the Lewis Creek Pentecostal Church.
Sur viving are four daughters, Judy Delph and Wanda Hatfield, both of Cumberland, Nancy Manis of Versailles, and Peggy Goode of Richmond; two sons, Dewey Delph and Dennis Delph, both of Partridge; a brother, George Ramey, and a sister, Mildred Ramey. Nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
Burial was in the Maggard Cemetery in Partridge.
