Funeral services for William Paul Collins, 87, were held June 22 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Collins Cemetery at Mayking.
He died June 19 at the Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born at Seco, he was a son of the late Watson T. and Clara Breeding Collins and a grandson of the late William T. and Emeline Crase Breeding. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mabel, and a brother, Mack.
He was a 15-year employee of Western Auto in Whitesburg, repaired electronics, and traded and bartered at flea markets in eastern and central Kentucky.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Frazier Collins; four children, Larry Collins and wife Marsha, Mason, Ohio; Paula Collins and husband Charles, Somerset; Karen Sauls and husband Billy, Eureka, N.C., and William Collins and wife Randy, Greenville, S. C.; seven grandchildren, Lauren Collins Yankoff, Amanda Collins, Rebecca Collins, Paul Edward Collins, Heather Collins Stout, Rachel Rankin and Savannah Elizabeth Collins; eight great-grandchildren, Maddy, Leyden and Van Yankoff, Braydon and Brynna Collins, Abigail and Bradley Stout, and Benjamin Rankin; and a brother, Jimmy Collins, Ypsilanti, Mich.
