Winston Sturgill, 77 died December 3 at his home at Eolia.
He was retired from A&P Food Store after 32 years, and was a member and deacon of the Eolia Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Darlene Sturgill; two sons, Paul David Sturgill and wife Adrienne of Cromona, and Mark Stephen Sturgill and wife Connie of Kingscreek; a daughter, Selena Sue Smith and husband Jimmy of Bryantsville; two brothers, Winford Sturgill and wife Geneva of Craft’s Colly, and Ronald Sturgill and wife Shelia of Eolia; six granddaughters, Kalena ‘Nikki’ Sturgill and fiancé Trae Carr, Ashley Smith, Amelia Mullins, Carrie Mullins, Airies Mullins and Haley Mullins; and two great-grandsons, Benjamin Carr and Alexander Carr.
Funeral services were held December 6 at Eolia Baptist Church. Burial was in Sturgill & Mullins Cemetery at Eolia.
Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
