Elizabeth Ann “ Liz” Harper, 74, of Columbus, Indiana, died May 22.
Born at Cowan to the late James Harris and Dora Blair Wyatt, she was the was the widow of Bill Fairchild, Fulton Combs, Bond Leonard, Robert Young and Roy Harper.
She was the mother of the late Billie Ann Fairchild Smith and Sheila Carol Combs Brumfield, a grandmother of the late John Travis Collins and Aaron Lyndon Smith, and the mother-inlaw of the late Richard Linn.
She was a sister of the late Helen Homer, Sybil Wyatt, Henrietta Marcum, Catherine Banks, Rosemary Miller, Frances York, Carolyn Boggs and Glenn Wyatt.
She worked in the food service business including Sap’s Buffeteria and Lemley’s Catering, and was a volunteer at All Saint’s Manor in Columbus.
Surviving are two daughters,
Constance “Connie” Fairchild Collins of Columbus, Ind., and Eugenia “Genia” Ostick Linn, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a son, Herman Keith Combs of Columbus, Ind.; a brother, James Wyatt of Seymour, Ind.; and grandchildren, Kaylon and Christopher Linn of Indianapolis, Ind., Chandus Linn of Hope, Ind., and Brittney Brumfield and Bethanie Collins, both of Columbus, Ind.; and Stanley Ostick.
Funeral services were held May 25 in Indiana.
