Rites set for Janice Johnson



Janice Marie Johnson, 69, of Haymond, died November 10 at Pikeville Medical Center.

Born in Norton, Va., she was a daughter of the late Everett and Juanita Kilgore Hunsaker and was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Mullins.

She had worked for H&R Block for many years as a tax preparer and attended the Burdine Church of God of Prophecy.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Samuel ‘James’ Johnson; a daughter, Juanita Denise King, of Pikeville; four grandchildren,

Rachel King Caudill and husband Devon, of Burdine, Charlie Mullins, Cody Mullins and Cayman Mullins, all of Haymond; a great-grandson, Riley Jett Caudill, Burdine; three sisters, Helen Mullins and husband Lonnie, of Wakeman, Ohio, Shirley Hunsaker, of Pikeville, and Karen Hunsaker, of Lorain, Ohio; a brother, Everett Hunsaker Jr. and wife Rachel, of Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. today (Wednesday) at the Burdine Church of Prophecy. Burial will follow in the Johnson family cemetery.
