Police are still looking for a robber who took prescription drugs from a Neon pharmacy at gunpoint last week.
Kentucky State Police said a man armed with a semi-automatic handgun entered the Family Drug Store on Main Street and demanded pharmacy employees place the painkiller Lortab and the anti-anxiety drug Xanax in a black and white bag.
Police said the man was wearing a white bandana over the lower part of his face left the pharmacy on foot. A green Ford Taurus was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed, but police said it is unknown if the subject was in the car.
Police said no one was injured during the robbery. The pharmacy does not have surveillance cameras, police say.
The robber is described as a white male, around 40 years old, who stands about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark toboggan, sunglasses, the white bandana and a brown flannel shirt.
Anyone with information concerning the crime is asked to contact Detective Randy Combs at KSP Post 13 in Hazard, 606- 435-6069.
