Ronald Kincer dies at 85



Funeral services for Ronald David Kincer, 85, were held December 4 in Lexington.

Born in Letcher County to the late Wallace and Myrtle Kincer, he died November 28 at his home in Lexington.

He was graduated from Whitesburg High School, and attended Virginia Military Institute.

Mr. Kincer finished his electrical engineering degree at the University of Kentucky, and later returned to pursue his master’s degree in electrical engineering.

He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force, and later created the company CM of Lexington, an unemployment agency, and finished his working career as a quality control auditor and examiner.

Surviving Mr. Kincer are his wife of 70 years, Connie

Combs Kincer; three children, David Kincer and wife Frances, Kathi K. Zeller, and Christopher Kincer; two sisters, Kay Amburgey and Marsha Banks and husband Carl; six grandchildren, Shannon Barger and husband Kevin, Allie Liby and husband Michael, Acacia Hanlon and husband Tim, Jake Zeller, Alexandra Kincer and Jozie Zeller; and five great-grandchildren.
