The Ermine Senior Citizens went to Knott County last week to the Senior Games. Our group is on the winning side again. We won 27 medals. Our young senior, Ruby Caudill, 95 years young, won three medals and a plaque for being the oldest one there, and she also received a trophy. Way to go, Ruby!

Our ladies of Letcher County won first place in cheerleading and second place in line dancing. We had a great day and a good time.

Eugene Slone was presented an appreciation plaque for the help he gives to our center. Eugene, we really appreciate you, and thanks for all the things you do for us.

We were scheduled to go to Buckhorn Lodge for a great day, and a good time.

This Friday we are going to Fishpond Lake for a picnic. Almost every week we are doing something, and having great times. We average from 50 to 55 about every day.

We have quilting ladies, if you like to quilt and we play Bingo, Wii games and we talk and eat. Come and join us.

The food is delicious, because we have great cooks.

Joe Walker of McRoberts was one of our visitors. Gerri Haynes and her brother were visitors also. Come on back you guys.

Come and see what we do. You’ll enjoy coming.

God bless until next time.
