Elsie is still not feeling well. She would appreciate your prayers.
We were sorry to hear of the death of our good friend, Hasco Jenkins of Kettering, Ohio. Hasco came to Cowan many times for the union meetings and revivals. He and Kate were a great influence in our church and community.
Ruby June Caudill was taken to lunch at the Pine Mountain Grill on April 15 by Virginia Brown, Anna Yonts and Linda Lucas. We wanted to spend some time with Ruby June before she moves to Georgia. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and loved ones.
Joe, Steven and Randy Brown wish to thank everyone who helped to celebrate their mother, Virginia Brown’s, 90th birthday. They appreciate each one who came by and the kind words spoken, and those who traveled so far. They were honored with guests from Mississippi, Tennessee and Virginia. Thanks to Eula Mae Brown and Phyllis Ingram for the beautiful decorations and delicious refreshments. Everyone reported an afternoon of good fellowship and fun.
God bless each of you for making this a memorable occasion.
