Santa’s Truck Train will visit Letcher Co.

Santa’s Truck Train will deliver toys and treats to children that come out on Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 when they hear the siren announcing Santa’s arrival. The train consists of about 12 trucks with new and used toys which are wrapped.

On Dec. 22, the train will start at Ingram’s Creek at 10 a.m., go to Campbell’s Branch Community Center from 11 a.m. to noon, and Letcher Independent Baptist Church parking lot from 1:30 to 2 p.m. The train will then visit Little Colley, Colson, Love’s Branch, the Whitesburg Housing Project and, if time permits, Craft’s Colly.

The train will leave Ingram’s Creek at 10 a.m. on Dec. 23 and got to Boggs Hollow, Kingscreek, Cowan, Whitco, the mouth of Pine Creek and Cram Creek, the hollow beside Martha Jane Potter Elementary School and, if toys permit, McRoberts and Goose Creek Apartments.
