Seger to play Louisville

Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Bob Seger will take his Silver Bullet Band to the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville on Thursday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. Seger, whose career has spanned five decades, recently completed the first leg of his tour 2011 North American tour to rave reviews. Tickets to see the rock legend in action go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, September 23.

Seger and the Silver Bullet Band have released 12 studio albums including two volumes of “Greatest Hits” that have sold more than 7 million copies combined. Seger was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 after several of his hits went multi-platinum. This is Seger’s first tour since releasing his “Face the Promise” album in 2006. The singer has a deep pool of hits to draw from, including “Old Time Rock and Roll,” “Night Moves” and “Like a Rock,” but will also be sharing some of his newest works with fans.

Tickets for the November 17 show will be available for $72 and $45, reserved seating. This price includes the facility fee. There is a ticket limit of six per person for the first day of sales.
