Seniors advised on food, exercise

Greetings from the Kingscreek Center.

Hope everyone had a nice week. I did.

We only met once this week due to Election Day. Seems we had a light turnout for the voting.

Our hearts go out to Wendell and Hazel Fields. Losing a child would have to be one of the hardest things to endure.

Thursday at the center, a lady gave us advice on exercising and food portioning. We (or at least me) should listen to her. But I’m not fat, just Reubinesque. Would you believe pleasingly plump? No? Okay, okay, F.A.T. F-full, A-and, T-terrific.

We just had a most welcome guests at the center Thursday. Faye Herron’s daughter, Tammy Barton, and her two sons, Patrick and Johnathon Barton. stopped by to see us. The baby, Johnathon, has some health issues but is full of life and has a big smile on his face. Patrick made sure we all knew it was his baby.

Last weekend was Memorial weekend, so I hope you thought of your ancestors with kind thoughts, even those with a colorful past. We all have a few of those.

Take care of yourself and try to make good memories.

Until next week, give love to those around you. Both of you will be blessed.
