Hello from Kingscreek Senior Center. It has been a slow week for us. On Tuesday we quilted and talked. Lorena Fields was back with us after an absence of about five weeks. We were glad to have her back.
Last Thursday we quilted and had a good lunch. The cooks are great. We did some planning for a shopping trip, which we all enjoy, and for our Thanksgiving dinner. It should be some feast.
A few of the ladies are expecting family home for Thanksgiving. They all enjoy talking about and seeing their families.
We will be helping with a benefit dinner to help two families in the neighborhood. There seems to be so much sickness and trouble this time of year.
This is a good time to spend time with family and friends. Let them know that they matter to you. Don’t forget to give a smile and a hug. They both mean a lot.
That’s all the news from our place. Take care until next time.
