Seniors send treat bags to students

Well, the wind didn’t blow us away so we’re saying a big hello again. God spared us, and we need to be thankful for it.

The winds did get bad in places, though. Our thoughts are with those in Middlesboro who lost anything from their recent tornado.

Faith Moves Mountains has been coming every Wednesday, teaching us about better eating habits and exercises we can do to help us stay healthy. We may be getting a little older, but we still want to feel good.

A lady came and talked with us about early detection for breast cancer.

Arlie Boggs Elementary had a dedication ceremony for the wetlands it is making. The kids are excited about it. It will be where Mr. Fox had his trailer on the hill.

The seniors sent treat bags to Arlie Boggs School for the little ones. Some of us had to have a Tootsie Roll, but there was plenty for the kids.

So many people are sick. The prayer list is: Martina Maggard, Jacob Raleigh, Tim Maggard, Cleta Amburgey, Paul Maggard, Norma Rhymer, and Irene Bowling. I hope everyone is doing better.

Our birthdays this month are: Jean Hunsucker, John Sayers, and Elaine Mc- Farlen. I hope everyone has a happy birthday.

May God bless and keep you.
