A memorial service will be held in Jenkins on Saturday for Christopher Shane Toth, 42, who died October 18 in Nashville, Tenn. The service will be held at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Toth is a graduate of Jenkins High School who was known for making friends easily. He was born in Richmond, Va., on December 20, 1969. A father of four, he practiced the Christian faith.
Toth was a son of Freda Toth Mullins and Donnie Brice Mullins of Jenkins, and James Stephen Toth and Linda Price Toth of Emerald Isle, N.C. He was married to Tammy Kay Ivy Toth of Nashville. Toth is also survived by son Christopher Shane Begley, 21, of Jenkins; daughters Destiny Ann Toth, 14, and Bethany Kay Toth, 9, of White House, Tenn., and stepson Nolan Ortery, 20, of White House. Other survivors include brothers Jimmy Wayne Toth, 52, and David Keith Toth, 46, both of Richmond, Va., and sister Patricia Toth Polly, 48, of Lexington.
Toth’s death is also being mourned by a large, loving family of many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
