Brack Meade, 57, of Mayking, died June 21 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of the late Lee and Vena Meade, he was the father of the late Phillip Dewayne Meade, and a brother of the late Munzie Meade, Danny Meade, Delzie Meade, Buddy Meade, Ersel Meade, Earnest Meade, Albert Meade, Darlene Meade and Elizabeth Meade Cain.
He was the pastor of the God’s Worship Center in Pine Creek, and had also been an evangelist for 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Brown Meade; four sons, Bracka Meade of Little Cowan, Remus Crawford of Whitesburg, and Joseph Meade and Manuel Meade, both of Mayking; four daughters, Kimberly Taylor, Leada Meade, and Rebecca Meade, all of Mayking, and Tabitha Little, Whitesburg; a sister, Louise ‘Louis’ Sandlin of Mallie; and six grandchildren, Leeann, Joey, Braxston, Christopher, Nathaniel and Sawyer.
Funeral services were held June 25 at Seco Pentecostal Church. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking.
Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
