Services are held for Chester Adams

Chester Junior Adams died June 21 at his home at Neon. He was 61 years old.

Born at Dorton, he was a son of the late Troy and Daisy Mae Ray Adams. He was a brother of the late Larry Joe Adams.

Adams was a carpenter and a member of the Hemphill Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife, Georgia Rose Stewart Adams; three brothers, Roy Adams, Neon; Roger Adams, Topmost, and Arthur Adams, Wayland; four sisters, Kathy Charles, Raccoon; Irene Bentley and Geneva Bentley, both of Jackson; and Kaye Pratt, Abingdon, Va.; a niece, Marlena Holbrook; and a great-niece, Lauren Mackenzie Holbrook.

Funeral services were held June 24 at the Neon Church of Christ. Burial was in the Bentley Cemetery at Yonts Fork, Hemphill.
