Services are held for Faith Hazuka



Faith Ann Elkins Hazuka, 74, of Seco, died August 3, at Parkview Nursing Home in Pikeville.

Born in Wise County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Emory and Dessie Hall Elkins. She was the widow of Andrew Hazuka, and the mother of the late Gloria Jean Hall, Bernice Vanover, Jeff ery Hall, Luther Hall, and Carvis Ray Mullins.

She was a grandmother of the late Jeffrey Hall Jr., and a sister of the late Mattie Gotsey, Peggy Elkins, and Arthur K. Elkins.

She attended St. George’s Catholic Church in Jenkins, and Seco Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Flonnie Gaye Houston, Brenda Kaye Eldridge, and Dessie Crews, all of Kona; three sons, Ellis Hall Jr., of Jackhorn, and Robert Glenn Champion and Jimmy E. Houston, both of Neon; a sister, Verna Hope Elkins, of Deane; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held August 7 at Seco Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in Whitaker Cemetery at Seco.

Carty Funeral Home of Neon had charge of arrangements.
