Services are held for Henry ‘Bud’ Tolliver




Henry “Bud” Tolliver, 97, died June 24 at his home at Colson.

He was a son of the late Elizabeth Everidge Pigman and Henry Tolliver. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Broza Adams; five brothers, Charlie Tolliver, Clarence Tolliver, Denver Tolliver, Sidney Pigman, and William Pigman; his first wife, Della Collins Tolliver; and a sonin law, Dewayne Thomas.

Funeral services were held June 27 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.

Surviving are his wife of 71 years, Hazel Tolliver; two chil- dren, Clarence Tolliver and wife Roxie, Lima, Ohio, and Henrietta Thomas, Colson; three grandchildren, Clarence Ray Tolliver, Lima, Ohio; Della Guynn and husband Mark, Danville; and Shirley Thomas, Prestonsburg; seven great-grandchildren, Chris Tolliver and wife Sarah, Danny Tolliver, and Bryan Tolliver, all of Lima, Ohio; Jeremy Tolliver, Texas; Ben Pingilley, Nate Pingilley, and Luke Guynn, all of Danville; three great-grandchildren; the families of Donna and Buddy Roe and Danna Richardson; and friends Shirley Sexton, Colson, and Roger Banks, Beaverdam.
