Services are held for James Crase

James William ‘J.W.’ Crase, 76, of Mt. Orab, Ohio, died July 17 at Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union.

Born in Neon to the late John Bruce and Victoria L. Holcomb Crase, he was the father of the late Audrey Jayleen Crase.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea, was retired from Cincinnati Milacron in Mt. Orab, and was the owner of the Crase Barber Shop in West Union.

He was a member of the Scottish Rite in Valley, of Cincinnati.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Casey Crase; two sons, Jim Crase and wife Crickett, Liberty Township, Oh., and Michael Crase and wife Lisa, Mt. Orab; a brother, Donald Crase, Liberty Township; two sisters, Audrey Hughes and Ivy Greene, both of Liberty Township; eight grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 21 in West Union. Burial was in Cherry Fork Cemetery.
