OPAL MAY MEADE STRANGE

Opal May Meade Strange, 83, died July 1 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

Born in Letcher County, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Tilitha Hall Meade, and the widow of Billy Strange.

She was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She was a sister of the late Fairy Mullins and Nancy Ford.

Surviving are five daughters, Billie Martin, Judy Adams, Sandy Banks and husband Jackson, and Tilitha Sperger and husband Gary, all of Whitesburg, and Nancy Adams and husband Rulah of Isom; a son, Robert Strange and wife Judy of Macomb, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grand- children, and a great-greatgrandchild.

Funeral services were held July 6 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
