Ottielenna Tolliver Baldwin, beloved wife of the late James Marvin Baldwin for 56 years, died peacefully at the age of 81, March 23, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 6, 1937 in Jenkins, she was a daughter of the late Johnnie Dishman Tolliver and Lavada Belle Caudill.
She was a sister of Henrietta T. Milich (husband James deceased), Frankfort; the late Margaret Maggard Blair and surviving brother-in-law Charles Blair, Morehead; and the late Jimmy Ellison Tolliver (the late Rita Hampton), Cromona.
Mrs. Baldwin was a devoted mother to son, Jimmy Baldwin (wife Tammy) of Fayetteville, Ohio, and daughter, Rhonda Baldwin Strouse (husband Greg) of Lexington. She was a caring grandmother of four grandsons, Tyler Baldwin, Nicholas Baldwin, Seth Baldwin, and Jordan Strouse.
She will be remembered as a loving aunt, cousin, and friend. She positively influenced many lives as a dedicated teacher in Kentucky and Ohio, and was known for graciously serving others through her church, community, and schools.
Memorials can be made to the Pleasant Plain Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Goshen, Ohio, March 29, 6-8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home March 30, 10 a.m., with burial following at Edwardsville Cemetery.
