Rita Lynn Burke Isaac, 52, died October 6 at her home in Wise, Va., after a long illness.
Born in Canton, Ohio, to Allie Burke and the late Kenneth Burke, she grew up in McRoberts and was graduated from Jenkins High School in 1978.
She was a granddaughter of the late Bill and Jessie Johnson and Prentice and Sarah Burke.
Rita was an employee of First Security Bank, now known as Community Trust Bank, for 34 years and was vice president, regional operations manager, East Region.
She attended the University of Kentucky and South East Community College and was graduated in 1998.
She was a member of Wise Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Wayne Isaac; a son, James Adam Sexton and wife Nicole of Norton, Va.; a daughter, Lori Beth Isaac of Richmond; a sister, Carolyn Yonts and husband Keith of McRoberts; a sister-in-law, Brandi Hall of Wise, Va.; three grandchildren, Andrew, Lily and Anna; a nephew Braden Hall; a niece, Kristen Yonts; and a cousin, Mike Burke.
Funeral services were held October 9 at the Wise Baptist Church. Burial was in the Sparks family cemetery in McRoberts.
