Funeral services for Rosana Pryor, 71, were held April 23 at the Kingdom Come Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial was in Kingdom Come Cemetery.
A daughter of the late Hobert and Clara Ritter Brown Collier, she died April 20 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard.
She was the widow of Charles Roy Pryor, the mother of the late Hattie Pryor Sexton and Charles Roy Pryor, Jr., and a greatgrandmother of the late Seth Garvin Pryor.
She was also preceded in death by seven brothers, Hubert, Huey, Hobert Jr., Leslie, James, Curtis and Doyle, and two brothersin law, Tommy Roark and Harold Warden.
She was a member of the Seco Pentecostal Church.
Surviving are three sons, James Hobert Pryor and Esthus Pryor and wife Julie, all of Whitesburg, and Ed Pryor and wife Alisha of Middlesboro; two daughters, Vernetta Post and husband Wayne of Chicago, Ill., and Claire Ann Hall and husband Tim of Whitesburg; a daughter-in-law, Ella Pryor of Dema; two brothers, Ralph Collier and wife Rosa, Premium, and A.J. Collier and wife Pat of Carpentersville, Ill.; three sisters, Mary Alice Warden and Iona Noble, both of Premium, and Vernetta May Roark of Whitesburg; Mike Williams; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Everidge Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
