Sharon Gail Maggard Surber, 59, of Eolia, died December 8 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She was the daughter of the late Tinsel John and Ida Mae Vanover Maggard, and the mother of the late Melissa Ann Surber. She was retired from Hardee’s of Cumberland, and was a member of Rockvine Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James Vincent Surber of Eolia; a daughter, Regina Smith and husband Allen, Eolia; a son, James Anthony Surber and wife Miranda, Deane; three grandchildren, Tiffani Gayle, Austin Allen and Kameron Danielle; mother, Juanita Maggard, Bolivia, N.C.; two brothers, Roger Maggard, Tacoma, Wash., and Billy Troyer, Bolivia, N.C.; seven sisters, Pricillia Faye Boggs of Cumberland, Maggie Joanne Caudill, Glenda Harrison, Mary Ann Blythe, Carolyn Simmons, and Martha Jane Hewitt, all of Bolivia, N.C, Connie Maggard of Partridge; and a niece, Brenda Owens of Eolia.
Funeral services were held at Rockvine Baptist Church. Burial was in Maggard Cemetery at Partridge.
