SHEILA FAYE LAVIERS

Shelia Faye Hatton La- Viers, 60, died January 8, 2022 in Clear Lake, Texas. She was the wife of Stephen Douglas LaViers, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.

Born in Whitesburg, she was the daughter of William and Betty Coots Hatton. She was graduated from Whitesburg High School in 1979 and later pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting at Pikeville College from which she was graduated in 1995.

Mrs. LaViers belonged to Truth Ministries of Whitesburg. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen LaViers; a son, William LaViers and wife Stefani; grandchildren, Mason and Camden La- Viers; and siblings, Cindy Honeycutt, James “Jimmy” Hatton, and Beverly Adams. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings, Debbie Bradshaw, Brenda Hatton, and Allene Caldwell.

The memorial service will be held on January 20, 2022 at 5 p.m. at Everidge Funeral Home, 65 Main St., Whitesburg, Ky 41858. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m.
