Services are set for ‘Al’ Cornett




Funeral services for Kenny “Al” Cornett, 51, will be held a 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Kings Chapel Church. Burial will be in the Whitaker Cemetery at Dry Fork.

A son of the late Kinard and Mattie Marie Fields Cornett, he died May 11 at his home at Dry Fork. He was a brother of the late Clifton Keith Cornett.

Surviving are three brothers, Danny Cornett, Hamilton, Ohio; Benny Cornett and Steve Cornett, both of Dry Fork; seven sisters, Lois Breeding, Isom; Terrie Ribar, Jupiter, Fla.; Pauline Adams and Cleo Cornett, both of Dry Fork; Ella Sweeney, Frankfort; Patty Cornett, Premium; and Robin Miller, Blackey.

Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
