Henderson Herbert Mullins, 88, died April 5 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.
A son of the late Charlie C. and Nannie B. Polly Mullins, he was the widower of Anita Jane Mullins. He was the father of the late Ronnie Mullins and Donnie Mullins, and a brother of the late Floy Phillips, Fonda Polly, Devella Mullins, Dorothy Bolling, Earl Mullins, Doyle Mullins, Charlie C. Mullins, and Fred Mullins.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and received the Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Service Medal, a Bronze Star, and the Asiatic Pacific Service Ribbon. He was a former construction worker.
Surviving are two sons, Mickey Mullins, Tucson, Ariz., and David Max Mullins, Wise, Va.; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, in Pound, Va. Burial will be in the Mullins family cemetery at Eolia.
