Funeral services for Ada Viola Henderson, 89, of Manchester, Md., were held December 22 at Polly & Craft Funeral Home in Jenkins. Burial was in the Jenkins- Payne Gap Cemetery.
A former resident of Payne Gap, she died December 17.
A daughter of the late Blane and Virgie Vanover Taylor, she was the widow of Lester ‘Hubby’ Henderson, and the mother of the late Alan ‘Hubby Jr.’ Henderson.
She had worked as a clerk at Hunsaker’s Market at Payne Gap for more than 30 years, and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Surviving are two daughters, Redonna Lavene Genco and husband Vince of Hampstead, Md., and Iva Nell Dingus and husband Joe of Westminster Md.; a son, Spencer Van Henderson, Baltimore Md.; a twin brother, Bill Mullins, Baltimore, Md.; and a sister, Dollie Honaker, Toledo, Oh.; and a friend, Nancy Corbett, Jenkins.
