Funeral services for Alberta Webb, 76, of Sergent, were held October 24 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Burial was in Thornton Cemetery.
A daughter of the late Thurston and Mattie Sergent Collins, she died October 21 at Isom.
She was the widow of Sam Cecil Webb, and a sister of the late Roy Collins, Lester Collins, and Thurston Collins Jr.
She was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Joey Webb of Isom, Chris Webb of Zebulon, N.C., and Craig Webb of Lexington; five daughters, Brenda Joseph of Premium, Linda Fields Simpson of Lexington, Kathy Collins and Cecilia Smith, both of Whitesburg, and Carol Baker of Dandridge, Tenn.; five brothers, Billy Collins of Detroit, Mich., Estill Collins and Jessie Collins, both of Craft’s Colly, Bobby Joe Collins of Berea, and Windus Collins of Thornton; eight sisters, Ruth Ison and Marietta Spangler, both of Kingdom Come, Rena Sturgill and Virgie Halcomb, both of Dayton, Oh., Ann Combs of Redstar, Norma Jean Adams of Craft’s Colly, and Gayle Franklin of Colloden, W.Va.; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Letcher Funeral Home of Whitesburg had charge of arrangements.
