Alvin G. Holbrook, 55, died January 31 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.
A son of Charles and Helen Holbrook of Ermine, he was born at Lackey. He was a brother of the late Herman G. Holbrook.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his four-wheeler and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Karen Holbrook of Richmond, Va.; two sons, Alvin Holbrook Jr. of Louisville and Jason Holbrook of Carrollton; a daughter, Lisa Marie Holbrook of Oklahoma City, Okla.; six brothers, Danoon Holbrook of Harold, Tony Holbrook of Hammond, Ind., Ronnie Holbrook and Charlie Holbrook, both of Knott County, Ricky Holbrook of Craft’s Colly, and Joe Holbrook of Redfox; a sister, Regina Holbrook of Pikeville; and three grandchildren, Jaelyn and Kendal Holbrook of Carrollton and Clayton Weinmeister of Pikeville.
Funeral services were held Februart 6 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg.
