Betty Lou Webb, 81, of Mayking, died December 23 at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Va.
Born in Seco to the late Dennie Franklin and Josie Vene Caudill May, she was the mother of the late Sharon Kay Webb.
She was a great-grandmother of the late Christopher Whitaker, and was also preceded in death by four brothers, Henry, Hubert, Stanley and Glenn, and three sisters, Ruthal, Angeline and Eulah.
Mrs. Webb enjoyed singing in church and baking.
Surviving are her husband, Glenn Bennett Webb; three daughters, Debra Halcomb and husband Hershel of Cohutta, Ga., Kathy Ann Gibson and Glennia Wooton and husband Errol, all of Mayking; a sister, Wanda Spangler of Berea; eight grandchildren, Shane, Elizabeth, Amanda, Damon, Robert, Willie, Larry and Sarah; and seven great-grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Kloey, Addison, Isabella, Zoey, and Emma.
Funeral services for Mrs. Webb were held December 27 at the Thornton Old Regular Baptist Church at Mayking. Burial was in the Webb Cemetery at Mayking.
