Bill W. Baker, 76, of McRoberts died July 28 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.
A son of the late Wilson Woodrow and Allie Louis Baker, he was a brother of the late Ena Faye Potter.
Surviving are his wife, Peggy Sparks Baker; three sons, David Baker of Newport, Tenn., Danny Baker of Whitesburg, and Bill Baker of McRoberts; a daughter, Lacy Tolx of White Pine, Tenn.; a brother, Curtis Dwight Baker of Louisville; three sisters, Louise Gossett of Richmond, Ind., Joyce Grigsby of Ohio, and Adam Lucille Mullins of Pikeville; 13 grandchildren, Derek, David Jr., Tabitha, Abierum, P.J. Wright, Samantha, Daniel, Austin, Hunter, Braden, Harper, and Laila; and eight greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Baker were held July 31 at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
