Bill Marcum, 86, of Payne Gap, died April 19.
A son of the late Julia Marcum, he was a brother of the late Ezel Bourne, Inez Lefkin, Charles Marcum and Ed Marcum.
He was a former heavy equipment operator and an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and loved the outdoors.
Surviving are his wife, Mildred Holbrook Marcum; a son, William Randy Marcum and wife Lisa; a daughter, Cynthia Lewis and husband Tom; three grandchildren, William Tyler
Marcum, William Austin and Arissa Di-Ann Vanover; a step-granddaughter, Natasha Tenney; three stepgreat grandchildren, Dante Adams, Sierra and Colton Tenney; six sisters, Savannah Rose, Rosezella Morgan, Ruthie Rudd, Sarah Yonts, Dorothy Polokovich and Geraldine Tompkins; and two brothers, George Marcum and Henry Marcum.
Funeral services were held April 22 at the Payne Gap Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in the Sam Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap.
