Bonnie Holbrook died July 4 at her home in Whitesburg. She was 90 years old.
Born in Letcher County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Nannie Tolliver Duncil and the widow of Rufus Holbrook. She was a sister of the late Macie Warf, Raymond Duncil, Melvin Duncil, Judd Duncil and Ellis Duncil.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg, and was owner and operator of the Parkway Motel. She was a former owner of H&D Coal Company.
Surviving are two daughters, Juda Hall and husband Charles of Hazard, and Charlotte Holbrook of Whitesburg; two sisters, Mollie Caudill of Thornton, and Ann Marable of Harrogate, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Greg Hall and wife Karen, and Michell Hardy and husband Bart, all of Hazard; and six great-grandchildren, Jordon, Mack, Logan, Blayne, Hunter and Colton.
Funeral services were held July 8 at the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Memorial Park at Ermine.
