Funeral services for David Mullins, 71, of Johnson City, Tenn., were held September 17 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in the Washington County Memorial Gardens in Johnson City, Tenn.
Born in Martin to the late John Harrison and Vegre Johnson Mullins, he died September 13 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, Tenn.
Mr. Mullins enjoyed gardening and going to church.
He was married to Linda Vanover in 1972, and was later married to Josephine Mullins, who died in 2018.
He was the father of the late David Coots, Jr., and a brother of the late Claude Mullins, Burnice Mullins, Logan Mullins, Charlie Ray Mullins, John Mullins, and Opal Fouts.
Surviving in addition to Linda Vanover of Johnson City, Tenn., are two daughters, Leslie Ann Mullins of Johnson City, Tenn., and Heather Renae Ludwikowski and husband Scott of Wise, Va.; ten sisters, Annie Fleming of Warrenville, S.C., Marie Stewart and Ella Ritenour, both of Lorain, Oh., Moreen Tolliver of Deane, Beverly Wright of McRoberts, Rose Gibson of Sneedville, Tenn., Diane McCall of Somerset, and Donna Waters and Debby Tyree, both of Cummings, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Grace, Faith, and Hope.
