Funeral services for Earl Jackson Keel, 74, of Thornton, were held April 1 at the Millstone Methodist Church. Burial was in the Serenity Hills Cemetery at Thornton.
A son of the late Hershel and Clercie Sanders Keel, he died March 28 at his home at Thornton.
He was a brother of the late James Keel, Billy Keel, Hearl Keel, Bruce Keel, Lorene Bowen and Martha Hampton.
He enjoyed cutting grass and was an avid University of Kentucky fan.
Surviving are four brothers, Wayne Keel and wife Glenda of Independence, Robert Keel and Howard Keel and wife Fayetta, all of Millstone, and Kenneth Keel and wife Charlotte of Cowan, and three nephews, Jeremiah, Davey and Jeb Keel, all of Millstone.
