Euna Fields Caudill Holbrook, 88, died March 16, at her home on Solomon.
Born in Whitesburg to the late James ‘Tinker’ and Jane Mullins Fields, she was the widow of Leslie Dale Caudill, and later married Cecil Holbrook, who also preceded her in death along with a son and a daughter, James and Phyliss, and a step-son- in- law, Kerney Brock.
She was a grandmother of the late Danny Lee Caudill and Steve Adams Jr.
She was a member of the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church, had worked for the Coffee Shop in Whitesburg, the A& P in Neon, and had been a cook at the Whitesburg Jail.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Newman and husband Jack, Whitesburg, and Kathy Parks and husband Boyd, Lexington; two sons, Danny Caudill and wife Saranell, Whitesburg, and Robert Caudill and wife Maria, Memphis, Ind.; two stepsons, Glennis Holbrook and wife Starla and Dwight Holbrook and wife Dianna, all of Payne Gap; three stepdaughters, Cecilia Bentley and husband Gary, Lakeland, Fla., Trulia Taylor and husband Mike, Georgetown, and Amelia Brock, Jenkins; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, and friends, Irene Houston and family.
Funeral services were held March 19 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
