Jack Branham, 84, of McRoberts, died January 7 at Pikeville Medical Center.
Born in Pike County to the late Lorenzo ‘L.D.’ and America Johnson Branham, he was the father of the late Billy Dale Branham, and a brother of the late Hattie Hughes, Easter Potter, Odell White and Jonas Branham.
He was a retired coal miner, and a member of the Scotia Employees Association.
Surviving are his wife of more than 62 years, Margie Combs Branham; three daughters, Peggy Banks and husband Bob, and Audrey Mullins and husband Junior, all of McRoberts, and Donna Lee Byers and husband Rich, Richmond; four sons, Roger Branham and wife Marcy, Neon, Allen Branham and wife Leora, Mayking, Jack Branham, Jr. and wife Carla, McRoberts, and Ernest Branham and wife Regina, Berea; 13 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; three sisters, Pina Gibson, McRoberts, and Johanna DeBruhl and Lucy Anderson, both of Michigan; and three brothers, Patton Branham and John W. Branham, both of McRoberts, and Willie Branham, Michigan.
Funeral services were held January 10 at Moore’s Chapel Church in McRoberts. Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery.
