Junior McArthur Sexton, 71, died January 1 in Chatsworth, Ga.
Born in Whitesburg to the late Corbin and Myrtle Sexton, he was the stepfather of the late Travis Chadwick and a brother of the late Jack Sexton and Denver Sexton.
He was a U.S. Army veteran
Surviving are his wife, Martha Sexton; a son, Jeff Sexton of Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Amanda Emmert of Cleveland, Tenn.; five brothers, Lloyd Sexton and wife Mary of Connecticut, Harold Sexton and wife Linda, Paul Sexton, Estel Sexton and Stanley Sexton, all of Kentucky; a sister, Stella Hamby and husband Carl of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Garrison, Danaka, Ricky, Brittany, Chris and Margon; three great-grandchildren; and friends, Raymond and Elizabeth Qualls and family of Chatsworth, Ga.
Funeral services were held January 4 in Georgia. Burial was in Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Georgia.
