Nevil Joy Johnson, 84, died February 23, at her home in Virgie.
Born in Pike County to the late Smith and Rebecca Stuart Johnson, she was the widow of George W. “Son” Johnson and a sister of the late Saul Johnson, Coolidge Johnson and Robbie Johnson.
She was a lifelong resident of Long Fork and was a member of the Speight Church of Christ since 1959.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Lee Johnson, of Long Fork; a granddaughter, Marian Graham and husband Jerry of Bristol, Tenn.; a great-granddaughter, Sabrina Graham, of Bristol, Tenn.; and three sisters in law, Virgie Johnson, of Long Fork, Marsie Johnson of Virgie, and Julie Johnson, of Michigan.
Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were held February 27 in Neon. Burial was in the Riddle Cemetery at Virgie.
