Oda Faye Miller, 72, of Kona, died June 30 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.
Born at Bottom Fork to the late Albert and Ella Holbrook Slone, she was a sister of the late Woody Slone.
She worked for LKLP Headstart for 35 years, the Garden Restaurant, Tootie’s and Neon Family Drug.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Miller, of Neon, and LeAnna Slone, of Hindman; a son, Eddie Miller, of Kona; four grandchildren, Christen Shepherd, of Mayking, Stefan Caldwell and husband Tommy, of Eolia, Taelour Thompson, of Hindman, and Lee “Brother” Shepherd, of Whitesburg; three great-grandchildren, Ethen Cummings and Evan Cummings, of Whitesburg, and Ashtin Caldwell, of Eolia; four sisters, June “ Lee” Collier and Alberta “Bert” Perry and husband Dave, all of Kona, and Rendy Slone and Patty “Pat” Hall and husband Michael, all of Alexandria, Va.; a brother, Ercel “Brother” Slone, of Bean Station, Tenn.; and a sister-in-law, Joan Slone, of Ermine.
Funeral services were held July 3 at the Little Rock Old Regular Baptist Church Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
