Funeral services for Ralph Russell Webb, 80, of Plymouth, Mich., were held December 21 at the Plymouth Church of Christ. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
A son of the late Gillie E. and Stella E. Adams Webb, he was born in Jenkins. He died December 18. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marybell and Wanda, and four brothers, Gillie ‘Doc’, Eugene, James D., and Charles E.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Army Reserves, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
He was a journeyman machine repairman at Livonia Spring and Bumper Division of General Motors for 28 years, retiring in 1982 and belonged to the Plymouth Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Mattie Mae Adams Webb; two sons, Ralph R. Webb Jr. and wife Michelle, Columbia, Tenn., and Gillie W. Webb and wife Denise, Rockford, Mich.; and grandchildren, Jason of Columbia, Tenn., Kevin of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Harrison of Rockford, Mich., and Morgan Rogers and husband Adam, Grand Rapids, Mich.
