Funeral services for William Danny Rose, 63, of Payne Gap, were held May 24 at the Payne Gap Freewill Baptist Church. Burial was in John C. Whitaker Cemetery at Jenkins.
A son of the late Arlie and Evelyn Clower Rose, he died May 20.
He was a grandfather of the late Kalyn Baker, a brother of the late Arlie Wayne Rose and Drusilla Chandler, and son-in-law of the late Troy Damron.
He was a retired coal miner, a U. S. Air Force veteran, a former member of Jenkins American Legion Post #66, and a member of Payne Gap Freewill Baptist Church, where he sang and played guitar.
Surviving are his wife, Madonna Damron Rose; three daughters, Sabrina Rose and fiancé Jerry Walker, and Michelle Baker, all of Jenkins, and Allison Fields and husband Audie of Whitesburg; a sister, Gretta Cooper of Eupora, Miss.; his motherin law, Evelyn Damron of Whitesburg; 11 grandchildren, Ashtene Lauren, Jonathan, and Kadan Barnett, Melissa and Megan Baker, William Brady Rose, Audie, Austin, Alyssa and Ashley Fields; a greatgranddaughter, Kynleigh Stevens; and friends, Orlando and Jackie Collins, Ronnie Collins, and Calvin Tucker.
Carty Funeral Home of Jenkins had charge of arrangements.
